Le camp a \u00e9t\u00e9 <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">organis\u00e9 en partenariat avec les \u00e9quipes du Nepal Eyes Hospital de Kathmandou. 214 consultations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es ainsi que 55 op\u00e9rations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Au cours des camps de sant\u00e9 ophtalmologique (12 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9s par l&rsquo;Association Manoj a ce jour), les m\u00e9decins op\u00e8rent souvent des patients atteints de cataracte. Si cette op\u00e9ration est courante en France, il n&rsquo;en est rien au N\u00e9pal o\u00f9 beaucoup de personnes n&rsquo;ont pas un acc\u00e8s mat\u00e9riel et\/ou financier \u00e0 des structures de soin.<\/p>\n<p>Ces op\u00e9rations sont parfois impressionnantes puisque le stade de la cataracte est tellement avanc\u00e9 chez certains patients qu&rsquo;ils en ont perdu la vue.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est le cas de Saili Tamang, une dame de 62 ans, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 op\u00e9r\u00e9e des deux yeux et qui a ainsi recouvr\u00e9 la vue. ophtalmologique \u00e0 Chipleti en mars 2019. Cette dame \u00e2g\u00e9e a \u00e9galement recouvr\u00e9 la vue gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;op\u00e9ration de ses deux yeux.
