Tous les patients sont repartis soit avec des traitements (collyres) soit apr\u00e8s avoir subi une chirurgie de la cataracte au sein m\u00eame du dispensaire (21 interventions).<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style L&rsquo;association est une nouvelle fois, et jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, la seule organisation \u00e9trang\u00e8re \u00e0 avoir travaill\u00e9 avec le Kantipur Dental Hospital. L&rsquo;association MANOJ a assum\u00e9 seule<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: large;\">l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;organisation <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">(salaires des soignants, h\u00e9bergement<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">, repas, 4&#215;4 et carburant etc&#8230;) <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">de ce camp de sant\u00e9 dentaire, premier du genre dans la communaut\u00e9 de communes de Simjung et sa r\u00e9gion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ce sont 236 consultations qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en trois jours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>43 It is a state of being free from mouth and facial pain, oral and throat cancer, oral infection and sores, periodontal (gum) disease, tooth decay, tooth loss, and other diseases and disorders that limit an individual\u2019s capacity in biting, chewing, smiling, speaking, and psychosocial wellbeing.(Oral health fact sheet)<\/div>\n<div align=\"JUSTIFY\">Oral health is fundamental to general health and well-being. A healthy mouth enables an individual to speak, eat and socialize without experiencing active disease, discomfort or embarrassment. Children who suffer from poor oral health are 12 times more likely to have restricted-activity days than those who do not. More than 50 million school hours are lost annually because of oral health problems, which affect children\u2019s performance at school and success in later life.<\/div>\n<div align=\"JUSTIFY\">Oral Health enables an individual to speak, eat and socialize without active disease, discomfort or embarrassment. Oral Health is fundamental to general health and well being, significantly impacting on quality of life. It can also affect general health conditions. Oral Health means more than healthy teeth. The health of gums, oral soft tissues, chewing muscles, the palate, tongue, lips and salivary glands are also significant.<\/div>\n<div align=\"JUSTIFY\">Dental diseases are widely prevalent disease and are the fourth most expensive disease to treat according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Dental health is related to the general health as it can cause morbidity and mortality. Therefore, there has been an increased interest and emphasis on the educational approach for the prevention and control of the oral health problems. Oral health promotion and prevention is an essential component of the country\u2019s National Oral Health Policy and National strategic plan for Oral Health in Nepal. It is in fact the channel for reaching the population and making them aware of the dental diseases and provides them the dental services. The college has been offering Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program affiliated to Kathmandu University (KU) and is recognized by Nepal Medical Council (NMC) and Ministry of Education (MoE) of Nepal government. It provides extensive clinical facilities to the students for learning at both, rural and urban centers.<\/div>\n<div align=\"JUSTIFY\">Kantipur General and Dental Hospital since its establishment has given priority to oral health promotion in community setting using various approaches like educational programs for different strata of the population, oral urgent treatment in the community itself, subsidized dental treatment for the underprivileged groups in the referral hospital and its branches.Its hospital has 100 beds and is located in same building which aims to provide the health facilities to all the general and vulnerable groups of people in the cost effective way. This tolled thousands of death and injuries leaving millions of people displaced from rural hilly areas and Kathmandu valley. Many powerful aftershocks were still continuing and majority of population are forced to remain outside till this time. Several villages, urban areas, cultural heritage, monuments, government offices were collapsed. Gorkha Districts is also among the most affected districts.<\/div>\n<div>After this, the Manoj Association is more actively involved to help the victims especially for the people of Simjung Vdc, A ce jour au N\u00e9pal, tr\u00e8s peu de dispensaires de campagne sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s de laboratoire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Une plaque comm\u00e9morative a \u00e9t\u00e9 scell\u00e9e sur le mur du dispensaire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Un assistant de laboratoire a commenc\u00e9 son travail le 5 d\u00e9cembre. Les premi\u00e8res analyses ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 avec la d\u00e9termination du groupe sanguin de chacun des enfants des 9 \u00e9coles du VDC de Simjung.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: large;\">Toute l&rsquo;organisation de ces camps de sant\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9e par notre coordinateur Dhan Bahadur GURUNG. Elle aura \u00e9t\u00e9 en tout point parfaite, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la veill\u00e9e finale. Une aide financi\u00e8re ( 500 euros ) a \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9e \u00e0 la famille afin de faire face aux d\u00e9penses m\u00e9dicales de Roran mais aussi de son papa atteint d&rsquo;une pathologie pulmonaire grave. Nanda souffre d&rsquo;une maladie de peau s\u00e9v\u00e8re. Sa peau totalement ass\u00e9ch\u00e9e n\u00e9cessite des traitements \u00e0 base de pommades introuvables au N\u00e9pal. Cette jeune fille tr\u00e8s brillante \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole ( premi\u00e8re de classe ) \u00e9tait soucieuse de voir interrompre sa scolarit\u00e9 par son papa et sa belle m\u00e8re sous pr\u00e9texte que sa maladie ne lui permettrait aucun avenir. Japhar a su convaincre le papa de laisser sa fille continuer sa scolarit\u00e9.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Compte tenu de la situation financi\u00e8re pr\u00e9caire de la famille, nous avons pris contact avec l&rsquo;association amie, AVENIR NEPAL, avec qui nous partageons le m\u00eame coordinateur, Dhan Bahadur GURUNG. Une premi\u00e8re livraison ( une quarantaine de blousons ) a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite par l&rsquo;interm\u00e9diaire de 4 trekkeurs fran\u00e7ais en octobre dernier ( confi\u00e9s \u00e0 Dhan Bahadur GURUNG notre coordinateur MANOJ ). Annick et Thierry ont eux aussi, pu amener une vingtaine de blousons suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: large;\">L&rsquo;ensemble des tenues a \u00e9t\u00e9 confi\u00e9 \u00e0 Jhandu et Penzom LAMA ( amis d&rsquo;Annick et Thierry ), eux m\u00eame\u00a0 gravement touch\u00e9s par le s\u00e9isme ( famille, habitation et lodge dans le village de Kyanging Gompa, ). La distribution sera effectu\u00e9e par leurs soins aux plus n\u00e9cessiteux des Langtangpas ( habitants du Langtang ).
